Weber One-Touch Silver Grill
I decided it was time to replace my gas grill. It really doesn’t have many miles on it, I just can’t get the bottle filled locally. Everyone has gone to bottle exchange programs. I don’t want to stand around outside waiting for someone to come open the cage for me. I decided to go back to charcoal.
I decided on a Weber One-Touch® Silver 22.5″ charcoal grill. The box states the grill was designed and engineered in the USA. Weber’s website says the grill is assembled in the USA from imported components. The box came full of loose parts; does that mean it was assembled in the USA by me?
I also picked up a bag of natural wood charcoal and a Weber Rapidfire® Chimney Starter. First I stuffed the bottom of the chimney with Harbor Freight coupons.
I turned the chimney over and filled the top with charcoal. Then I lit the paper.
15 minutes later, the coals were about ready to dump out on the grate.
Burgers were chosen for the first grilling.
Dinner is served. My burger has bacon, blue cheese, tomato, onion, and lettuce. Chips are on the side, with a raspberry wheat beer to wash it down.

excellent upgrade! clean! like it just rolled off the showroom floor! I picked up the same grill at sears a few years ago – end of season / floor model deal. can’t be beat. I use the same chimney starter as well. works great. I start mine away from my grill on a few fire bricks. then I can get the grill ready while the charcoal is heating up. screw the aluminum legs into the fittings with sheet metal screws or similar. eventually, one of them is going to fall out when you’re moving it and dump ash all over the place. happy grilling!
I like the grill, but the last picture is pure art !
