Would these work for drilling hard metal (steel) or just wood?
These bits are designed for wood, plastic, and acrylic.
For steel, I use jobber length high speed steel with 118° points. I haven’t had any luck with imported drill bits; I look for brands that are made in the USA.
My experience has been similar, all the cheap import bits I’ve used with steel have gotten dull in only a few holes.
